The organisation for a professional fair like Art Eindhoven with booths with hard walls, lighting per booth, professional promotion and crew, the rent of the Klokgebouw, and so on, simply involves costs. The participating artists' contribution to the costs of Art Eindhoven is as low as possible. Because not all costs are allocated and the help of volunteers reduces costs, the cost is less than 1/3 of the cost of a fair where galleries show their artists.
Members of the National Association of Visual Artists (www.NABK.nl) will receive an additional discount on the participation costs. No further discount is possible. No further discount is possible.

Can I sell the exhibited artworks?
Yes, you can. Indeed, that is the intention. You may address passing visitors with the aim of informing them and stimulating their interest in buying. (However, please respect the freedom of visitors: they should have every opportunity to view the exhibited works in peace). You are also welcome to drop off business cards, art cards and leaflets. And furthermore, you can make arrangements for follow-up contacts by e-mail, at the interested parties' homes, at your studio or workshop, or by other ways. We recommend the latter: you can then devote your attention to other interested parties during the fair and later display your works in your studio at your convenience with those interested.

If someone wants to buy my work, how can it be paid for?
That is up to you. Cash on the nail is the most common: the buyer pays you the full purchase price and you hand over the work immediately.
But you can also agree that the buyer makes a down payment and then pays the remaining amount upon delivery of the work. At Art Eindhoven, the organisation has a pin machine. Under pre-specified conditions, the organisation will collect the PINed purchase price for you and then transfer the full purchase price, less administration fees, to your account.

Should I be present at Art Eindhoven itself?
Yes, you are expected to be there yourself. Only in case of illness or another urgent reason can you be represented and you can also leave your works unattended. How many visitors are expected?
The publicity is wide-ranging and by engaging a relatively large number of media, the use of posters, leaflets and other information carriers, a relatively large number of visitors are expected.
Besides a lot of positive publicity, the weather has a big impact on the number of visitors. Under normal (weather) conditions, the organisation expects over 2,500 art lovers to visit Art Eindhoven.

Why do visitors have to pay for entrance to Art Eindhoven?
An entrance fee selects visitors. By the way, participating artists will have the opportunity to let their guests visit Art Eindhoven free of charge.

The perlon wires can carry work up to 13 kilos. However, for works heavier than 8 kg, two perlon wires per work are recommended to be on the safe side.
